Mark Hohenberger
(E-mail
Mark)
Mark was born and raised in Ponca City, Oklahoma. He got his
start in the cattle business over 30 years ago, working on ranches
in Osage County and in local sale barns during high school. He attended
Oklahoma State University where he was a member of AGR Fraternity,
and graduated with a degree in Animal Science. He spent his college
summers working as a pen rider at a feed yard near Guymon, Oklahoma.
After college, while employed by a feedyard, he had the opportunity
to make a few sales and buy cattle for the yard. It was at this
time that he realized that buying and selling was the area of the
cattle business that he wanted to pursue.
Since then,
he has bought and sold cattle in 23 states and Mexico, owned a ranch
in Wyoming, and established many friends and customers over a large
area. Mark currently resides with his wife, Tammi, on a ranch West
of Ft. Worth, Texas.
Ed Bricker (E-mail
Ed)
Native to Arizona, Ed is a second-generation cattleman. His
father, Ed Bricker Sr., has been in the cattle industry managing
feedyards since the 60's. Ed grew up working in a feedlot in Queen
Creek, Arizona, where he began learning the business from the bottom
up.
He received a BS degree from Northern Arizona University in 1992,
where he played football and was an assistant coach after he graduated.
In 1993 he moved to Texas and worked for a large order-buying firm
until he joined forces with the Ogle family of Bowie, Texas. At
that time, Ed created his own order buying company, trading cattle
across the south and west.
Ed is married to Manda, and they have one daughter, Gracie.
